What Are Dental Implants?

Components of an Implant

Our Implant Treatment Process
1. 3D Scan & Consultation
We use a CBCT 3D scanner to assess your jawbone density, locate nerves, and digitally plan the precise placement of the implant.
2. Surgical Placement
Under local anesthesia (totally painless), the titanium implant is gently placed into the jawbone. The gums are sutured back over it.
3. Healing (Osseointegration)
Over the next 3 to 6 months, the jawbone naturally grows and fuses tightly around the titanium post, locking it firmly in place.
4. Abutment Placement
Once healed, a small connector (abutment) is attached to the top of the implant to hold your new crown.
5. Final Crown Placement
A custom-milled, perfectly shade-matched Zirconia or Porcelain crown is cemented onto the abutment. Your new tooth is complete!
